"Aileen Barr is a clay artist working mainly in tile and architectural ceramics. She has been designing and making ceramic tile for public art projects since the early 1990's. She moved to San Francisco from Ireland in 2002 and has continued to develop her work here. Her projects include the 16th Ave Tiled Steps in the Inner Sunset, Atla Plaza playground in Pacific Heights and The Lincoln Steps project at California and 32nd Ave in the Richmond. In addition to outdoor projects, Aileen also does residential tile work."
